Features splined top arbor with 150 HP motor; guided saws; lasers with hydraulic linear positioners; infeed with pre-positioning table; “picker” type outfeed table; PLC controller; hydraulic power unit. Edges 1 inch lumber at speeds up to 600 fpm. Capacity is 6 inch thick and 20 feet long. Maximum edged board (using only two saws) is 24 inches. Designed for softwood, adaptable to hardwood.
