GRINDER MANUFACTURER Horizontal Grinder - 2003 low rpm horizonal grinder with Perkins diesel. Features 18 inch wide x 18 inch diameter cutterhead with powered upper feed roll and horizontal infeed conveyor. Perkins engine is rated at 112 HP and also powers a small 10 KW generator which operates the electrical controls and the infeed/outfeed conveyors. The grinder is totally self-contained and requires no additional power. Cutterhead rotates at 400 - 580 RPM and is equipped with indexable cutter knives. Infeed/outfeed systems are powered by 2 HP gearbox drives. Inlet opening is 15" wde x 7" high. The cutters have 4 cutting edges on them. Production capacity is 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 tons per hour. <br/><br/>Controls are PLC based and feature built in amp meter & hour meter, automatic startup and anti-jam programming. Grinder is built on heavy steel frame, has adjustable legs & comes complete with 3/4" & 1-1/2" screens. System has seen little use since new with less than 200 hours on the meter.
