2018 COMACT Wave Feeder 20' capacity

2018 Comact Wave Feeder. Installed new in 2019 and run only 5 years. Electric drive with Siemens VFD Control. Designed for logs 8' to 20' in length and 5-1/2" to 20" in diameter. Feed rate up to 25 logs per minute.

1. Precision Log Feeding

The Wave Feeder presents logs one at a time, with consistent spacing, improving downstream efficiency and reducing the chance of jams or double-feeds.

2. Handles Imperfect Logs

Its wave-step mechanism is better suited for crooked, knotty, or non-uniform logs, which are commonly difficult for more rigid feeders.

3. Electric Drive & Low Maintenance

With an electric drive (rather than hydraulics), the system is easier to maintain, has fewer leak points, and provides more precise control.
