Linden 4-Step Self-Cleaning Double-Acting Step Feeder - Latest Design!

Heavy-duty Linden Self-Cleaning Double-Acting Step Feeder designed for high-production log handling applications. This unit features a 4-step configuration with a 36" stroke and 20' overall length, engineered to efficiently advance and separate logs ranging from 6" to 24" diameter and up to 20' long.

The self-cleaning design utilizes two continuous moving step assemblies mounted on cross-frame double support tubes, eliminating dead zones and reducing bark and debris buildup. Reinforced loading impact areas provide improved durability in demanding mill environments.

The feeder is powered by a 25 HP Baldor Master Vector motor driving a Cyclo reducer through a belt and sheave arrangement. The heavy-duty drive system is capable of operating at up to 20 cycles per minute, delivering a smooth, controlled flow of material to debarkers, chippers, sawmill infeed systems, and other downstream processing equipment.

A factory-installed automatic lubrication system services all major bearing locations through a centralized Lincoln pump and injector package, helping reduce maintenance requirements and extend component life.

Additional construction features include a massive 10" diameter torque tube with 1-1/8" wall thickness, precision-machined solid stub shafts, Timken steel-housing pillow block bearings, and a heavy-duty spanning frame.
