PRECISION 58" 4-knife Heavy Duty Chipper

The Precision Husky 58" Wastewood Chipper is designed for high-volume mill waste applications, built around a 58" diameter disc and one of the largest throat capacities in its class.

With a throat opening of approximately 15" x 34", the 58" model will accept up to 34" wide slabs and approximately 15" roundwood, allowing full-width material to be processed without trimming or rehandling. The largest in the industry for the 58-60 class chippers!

The chipper is equipped with 4-knife disk configuration.

Operating at approximately 720 RPM, the large-diameter disc provides high inertia for smooth cutting under variable loads, while maintaining consistent chip quality.

Designed for continuous-duty service, the machine features:

• Optional Heavy Duty fabricated steel housing
• Replaceable knives and anvils
• High-capacity discharge spout (approx. 15" x 34" throat)
• Horizontal or gravity feed configurations
• Top discharge
• Integration with slab conveyors and waste systems

Precision Husky chippers are known for their slicing action design, which increases anvil contact and produces more uniform chips with less horsepower compared to conventional designs. 

Can be offered used or completely rebuilt.
